Once you have started a baby on a particular brand of formula should you stick to that brand or can you change between brands. Does it matter?

You can change milly but from what I found out through experience it is better that you don't! Both my boys had severe constipation when I changed formulas - the worst being to the 'hungrier baby' formula! As well as not making either of them any less hungry, they were both really, really constipated and I have found this is common, although it doesn't say so on the tin!
I changed my babies milk 3 times before I settled on Cow & Gate Comfort with Dr Brown bottles. Formula milks are all very very similar anyway. Go for it!
You can change, as some children don't settle on one particular brand. But most health visitors will suggest sticking to one.
If you mean use one brand one time, another brand the next time, going back to the third brand etc, then it is best not to as each time it would normally take a few days for your baby's tummy to adjust.

If you are changing between brands trying to find the one that suits your baby best, then that is ok and most mums normally have to do that anyway. With both mine, I found the first brand I tried wasnt suitable and had to change them.

If you have found a brand of milk that satisfies your baby and agrees with them, then it is best to stick to it.
