Ooooo I wouldn't- if nothing else they'd come out the washer all wrinkly wouldn't they? And I can't imagine you'd be able to iron them, I could be wrong mind- but i wouldn't risk it.

Personally I'd wait for a really good drying outside day and gently hand wash in the bath or something then allow to drip dry outside.

oh yes i never thought ov that thanxs boo thats really helpfull
Or I found losing your temper and throwing a jug of water works lol

Adding to Boos suggestion, you could possibly hang them out on the line then wash them by sponging them down. Then leave them where they are to dry and you can hang them straight back up after.

I normally wash mine in the bath, all you do is fill half way with warm water and add detergent. Leave them to soak and drip dry on the washing line. You can even iron them on a cool setting.

kool thanxs for all ur answers
Yes - thanks for that, ccfluff. didn't know you could wash them like that!

Er...are you the MCC - fluff.......or someone else???
I'm surprised that you can wash them as they're normally quite a stiff type of material which I assumed had been coated in some way to keep them stable. Doesn't the material lose its stiffness and go all loose and floppy once it has been soaked and saturated with water?
