looking for my father who I havent seen in 18 years
3 Answers
Hi everyone, I'm 21 and I'm looking for my biological father, who I haven't seen in 18 years. Can anyone help? I dont have access to a bank card so can't really look online unless it's free. I've checked all the usual sites like facebook, bebo and myspace as well as checking 118 and 192. His name is Gary Kenneth Scott born in the October of 63 or 64 so should be about 42 or 43 years old. His mother (my granmother) is Julia (Julie) Gail Scott and they were last known living in London. I have the details of where my mother and him married, all the details for that. If you can help me, please let me know. Thank you.

Yes that would be a good staring place. You could also try
The Salvation Army as they provide a tracing service for missing relatives, more details via Google if you want to get more info (sorry I don't know how to do a link). If you can provide as much info as you can it will help them eg a more exact date of birth. I do not know if this is possible because it depends on your circumstances, whether you have con tact with extenden family.
Your local Citizens Advice Bureau is also a good source of advice
Good luck! But be realistic in your expectations
