In the end we decided that unless we had a reason behind it then we wouldn't bother with middle names, so we didn't! If I have a boy next time for example I would have my dad's name as his middle name, but as my mother hates her name with a passion I thought it would be unfair to bestow it upon my daughter!

What about Kiera Michelle.
I read somewhere that when choosing middle names, you should be careful of the syllables you use (don't want too many if you have a lot in the first name). Also if the first name ends with an "a" you might not want to have the middle name end in the same letter. Or - how about giving her your middle name (choose a name from the family with some sentiment)
