De-Alcoholised Wine Update
9 Answers
Hi everyone and a Happy New Year. Just to let you know that I DID try the de-alcohlised wine but haven't managed to drink one complete glass yet. It wasn't the fact that it didn't taste nice because it wasn't that bad, but as I was sipping it, I just thought, "why am I doing this?". There's no point.
So to all you sceptics out there and all the kind people who gave me such sound advice, I'm still on the straight and narrow and mean to continue with it. Thank you for your care.

i cant see the point in the alcohol free wines etc, would rather drink something like Scholer (sp). i have a sulphite allergy and more than one glass of wine really sets it off, i used to try the alcohol free ones to see if that helped but after a short time could not see the point when there was nicer stuff on the market :-)

That is truly good news, its not that people wanted to moan at you chrissa, but why jeopardise your current state of being clean and sober for the sake of xmas and not feeling bored?
I am glad that you had a good xmas, there are many people I know who have alcohol problems and wouldnt have been able to resist "just one" glass of something alcoholic
nothing wrong with de-alcohlised wine as a drink, I have seen people drink that and then move on to the hard stuff and this was after staying sober for 2 years!
