I remember when saturday night was the highlight of the week on tele. Nowt but rubbish these days so I do my crosswords instead,helps the old brain. Tele goes off on saturdays now!

I reckon it has something to do with the TV executives thinking most people are out on the town for the night. So they don't bother putting good stuff on.

Lately, lately?

I gave up watching TV on Saturday evenings about 15 years ago. It was rubbish then and (from looking at what's scheduled) has not improved one iota.
