I just caught my 7 year old daughter....
28 Answers
with her friend in my garden shed smoking & drinking.
I had been wondering about my bottle of whiskey being drunk so quickly, (I only have 6 glasses a night). I thought maybe it was evaporating or something.
And my cigarettes are the same. I haven't been smoking any more, but I've had to buy more than usual over the last few weeks.
So at least that mystery is solved. It isn't me going mad.
But what can I do about my daughter? 7 is a bit early to start drinking & smoking - I was 10.
Please help me with how to tackle this. Thanks.

I am disgusted that there has obviously been a lack of morality instilled in this child, if, at the age of just 7, she is already stealing your cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.
You seriously need to question your parental abilities and seek to correct your previous errors that have allowed for this behaviour to flourish.
You need to be firm, and take things back to the basics that reward is to be earned and there is punishment of poor behaviour.
You could start off by rewarding your daughter with one cigarette for every Tom she sees, and as an added incentive, an extra half bottle of vodka if she does ten in an evening and is still back home in time for the X-Factor repeats on ITV2 at 9 o'clock.
Develop your relationship with the child by throwing in the odd wrap of whatever you can get hold of (or a bit of Ajax powder in a piece of paper is a good alternative if things are tight, or you have just blown all your stash on yourself)
And don't forget to reward your child for good deeds. Don't be extravagant, as they will soon become accustomed to expecting it.
Just the latest mobile phone (ensure you get it unlocked first) or some tokens for a few sessions down the local self-service tanning salon will suffice.
You will then be well on the way to stoppig this anti-social and frankly, despicable behaviour that your daughter is displaying.
