where is my relative buried

I am the great great grand daughter of a ww1 hereo and would like to know where his wife is buried. Her name is Martha Hemstock Woolley and in 1917 lived at Jacksdale in Nottinghamshire.

She actually lived at Church Lane Bagthorpe in 1917, I've not found the name of the Church in Church Lane but I'm still looking

I've found george arthur with his parents John and Dorothy in Langley Mill Derbyshire in 1881 with his 8 siblings. Martha is a bit of a puzzle just now but I haven't found her death, she would be in her late 30s in 1917 when George was KIA, do you know if she married again?

I know Martha died quite young, so I feel pretty sure that she didn't remarry. well i'm hoping o anyway

She is on the 1911 census with her husband as born 1895, same year as him and so she would have been in her early 40s when he died actually.

thankyou for all your help. I now know that george arthur was one of 22 children and am led to believe that at least 2 other brothers were killed in action. I am also now trying to find out who they are and where? 1 i believe was kia at the battle of jutland

6.20 AM 1st June 1916, HMS Defence sank with the loss of many many crew, amongst them signal operator Cyril Charles Thomas Wooley Royal Naval Voluntary Reserve.

Actually he wasn't your gt gt grand father's brother at all, he was the son of a Joseph and sarah woolley of chatham kent, there are no other wolley deaths in the battle of Jutland that are shown.

Martha Hemstock Woolley- my great grandmother. I dont know where she s buried, but guess New Brinsley- as she was born there- 2nd guess Underwood or Selston - they are all so close. My mum was born at church lane Bagthorpe in 1927 and martha lived next door! mum remembers her as a child so she was alive in 1934 ish. I live in derbyshire and often go to Jacksdale garden centre. Where are you in england? Martha married george arthur woolley on 25/12/1895 when they were 20 years old etc etc. I'm going to Ypres Belgium to visit Railway Wood in june 2010. regards di
