1940/50's army friends
3 Answers
At a long shot i'm wondering if i could find any of the people who served with Malcolm Kirk in the army. he did national service at the end of the 40's and went back in again after that had finished to the infantry.
For national service he was in E troop, 199 battery, 68 regiment, R.A. Oswestry.
A couple of names I know are ALBERT COWAN, ROY WARRON who was in Adabiya in Nov '54, JEFF 'COLAVER (chef). NOT SURE OF SPELLING FOR COLAVER. they' most likely be in their late 70's now but i'm having no luck elsewhere.

You could try these sites.
http://www.forcesreunited.org.uk/sitemap.asp
http://www.servicepals.co.uk/
http://www.communigate.co.uk/wilts/paulfennell /page35.phtml
I know you've tried FR, but the last on, is Comrades and Colleagues, and they specialise in helping look for old soldiers.
If the link doesn't work, put 'Comrades and Colleagues' into a search engine, it'll come up.
Good luck.
