A Charity Night
5 Answers
Hi all, my mum died recently and she spent her last few days in Woodlands Hospice in Liverpool. Firstly I would like to say that the the staff there were absolutely amazing and I love them all for the way they treated her and us, her family. Secondly, as the Woodlands Hospice is a charity funded organisation I was thinking about holding a memoriam night for my mum in a couple of months somewhere locally and all the money raised could go to the Woodlands - you know the sort of thing where everyone call have a drink to my mum and we can sell raffle tickets etc etc. The only thing is I don't know where to start. Can anyone help me please. Thanks.

what I was about to suggest, have a red night?
where everyone would dress in the colours of LFC, dec. the pup out the same, put posters up (handy if you know a printer) preferably in red writing, explaining your aim, a bucket on the bar for loose change is a winner, download the kop anthem, 'Y'ou'll Never Walk Alone' play in periodically throughout, then take the bicket around the bar while it's playing, get people to donate raffle prizes ie; bottles ect;
I did a Sir Bobby Night and raised £1,200 on the night
