I can't believe the school..

on the way back from a trip to Poland decided it was ok for my son to go off to his dad'd house instead of bringing him back to the school to be collected by me as arranged. His dad and I don't speak, he has barely moved back to the area and If they BOTHERED to call me to ask if it was ok i would have REFUSED.
Sorry just had to vent a bit.....

Issues between you and your husbad aside it does seem irresponsible to have children getting off the bus at random points instead of the pre arranged drop off at school.

That very ex-husband by the way - and yes the school are were made aware when he started that his dad was not a contact and was not to collect him. Whilst typing this, the school have called to apologise. he claimed he thought that the address my son was going to was my house (although my address is on the paperwork and is nowhere near there) and that my partner Simon, clearly named as such on the contact form was his dad!
Still I've calmed down a bit now. Thanks for listening all :)
