Why is it such a big deal?

I'd rather my dad leave it up rather than not putting it up and getting wee all over the seat, which he doesn't clean up. Then when my mum or I come to use it and complain, he says, 'deal with it'.

i hate clingfilm, every time i use it, it ends in a disaster with small bits of plastic everywhere and the smallest of container having to be covers in several pieces of small clingfilm, so it is completely covered.

put down toilet lid down.
Remove the damn toilet seat.

Simple solution to all this. Leave the seat down and let him pee sitting down. It actually empties the bladder more that way too.

I can't tell him that he has to pee in a certain position.
Yeah, I suppose you're right! One of our fun games concerns height or distance of a pee....

Just to pick up on your problem with clingfilm - have you tried keeping it in the fridge. I do this and rarely have a problem with finding the edge or tearing off the amount I need.
I don't see the problem. You don't see men moaning that we don't put it up after we've been. I do live with just boys though...
(ummmm uses a urinal)
