Grandson living with Grandparents

My son and his wife have been divorced for a number years now but their son (my grandson) plans on coming to live with us when he is 16 so that he can go to the 6th form college nearby. Are there any financial arrangements that have to be met by his parents to ease the cost to us.

You should get the family allowance £20 pw until he's 19 and in full time education.
