my girlfriend and i are no longer together but i have been given parental responsibility by the courts for my 2 yr old son along with my girllfriend am i my childs next of kin or is it her parents if i am do i have a right to ask my girlfriend to let the nursery know that that it is me and also if my girlfriend is not available if they need to contact a parent am in my right to say that they must contact t me if they are unable to get ahold of her

Yes....If you have parental responsibility you can request that they contact you in an emergency. You also can request that all letters regarding your son be sent to you also....
