Purple tinge to lips and cheeks
11 Answers
My youngest has recently been in hospital overnight where he was treated for dehydration. He came out Friday night and whilst in hospital had (what seemed like) a load of tests done and nothing serious showed up. However, this morning my oldest son noticed that he had a purple tinge to his lips and cheeks (he wasn't cold and hadn't eaten any purple food). Should I book a doctor's appointment or wait and see if it happens again? Thanks

Rang NHS direct and the person I spoke to was very cautious on the phone but he was so concerned that he rang me back and infered that I should go to the doctors (he obviously has strict guidelines to follow). I had the little one checked out today and all is well. Thanks for your concern.
