of course, any nbaby is a little miracle - i understand that, but didn't know what else to put in the headline!

Anyway, i'm really stuck as to what to put in a greetings card.

My friend has become a grandma for the first time today, but not under the best of circumstances. It's very complicated and many of the family are upset and not speaking to each other.

After many stressful months, my friend has decided that she can only support her daughter.

I feel that a granddaughter is wonderful news whatever the circumstances, but all the greetings card i found had words in about lovely parents, families, life being perfect etc.
i have found a nice blank one, but don't know what to put!!!

Assuming the baby is healthy, something like 'Congratulations on becoming a Grandmother!'
As she's your friend, add something chatty like 'Can't wait to see her and hope (mother) is doing well',
