I'm having a real isse finding a reliable chart online, my daughter (1 year old) is not quite walking so don't feel the need to have a professionally measured yet. But the weather's getting much colder and wanted to get her some boots. I measured her feet (whilst standing up on a piece of paper) and marked with a pen the back of her heels to the tip of her toes and it measures 14.5cm (yes she is a tall baby). Any ideas what shoe size she might be??

You're best bet is to get her feet professionaly measured in a shoe shop. You don't necessarily have to buy their shoes, give 'em some waffle when they've done it about having "a think about it".

Her feet are so small ,and unformed that any guesswork can have terrible consequences, not worth it.
nelly, can i just say, go into clarkes and get her measured. They wont mind and theres no obligation to buy.

other than that then just try some on in the stores and see which fit, my 2 were both in 6-12months shoes from mothercare at newborn
Go to Clarkes. They have shoes especially for "cruisers" children who aren't walking properly ie round the furniture. They measure and fit properly, as depending on the style, size and width can vary.
