UK Theme Parks

Over half-terms and summer holidays it can be easy to get stuck for things to do with the kids. The UK has some great theme parks that can entertain children aged anywhere from 4 to15, packed with rides, shows and attractions that will keep the kids entertained for hours.

For families who want to miss the queues on busy half terms or holidays, many UK theme parks have online ticket booking facilities that allow you to skip the queues and get straight into the park,

As you may expect, most UK theme parks are busy in the summer and closed during the “off-season” times over winter, so expect the parks to be busy even if you do pre book your tickets.

Theme parks are a great place to take the kids when they are on holiday, so arranging a trip with other parents can often lead to a great day out as well as group booking discounts, so make sure you ask about them!

Below is a list of the UK’s best theme parks and links to their websites and ticket booking pages:

Alton Towers

The UK’s largest and most well-known theme park, packed with rides for all ages. Alton Towers also have a resort and hotel where families can stay if they wish to visit the park over a number of days.
