Charlie Blackout (5.0%) from Toll End Brewery.
Very dark Beer with a Cinder Toffee and Smoke flavour.
also
Redemption (5.0%) from Toll End Brewery.
Amber colour with a sweet, smooth almost malty taste.
Rowan and I found both these Beers, excellent.
Toll End Brewery are a relatively new Micro-Brewery based at Tipton,West Midlands.
Hopefully we will come across these Beers again in the near future !

That looks a gud un, Nibble.
Puts hair on your throat, tony

That looks like a seriously good Beer nibble @ 5.6% ! Must look out for it at the Welly in Brum or elsewhere.
Hi JJ !
Hope you manage to find a nice Cask Ale to try for yourself. There is nothing worse than being served a sub-standard Beer as it puts you off Beer altogether.
Look for a Pub with the Cask Marque sign by the door as it's usually a decent guide as to what the Beer is like inside !!!!
Try at the new Waitrose in Brum, red

Usually go to the Waitrose in Harborne, Nibble.
It would be nice to see it on draught though, even better than in a bottle..
The draught vs bottle thing is so prevalent in Theakstons Old Pecular. In a bottle it loses all of its silky, chocolate texture and taste.
