Kernow Imperial Stout @ 9% from Coastal Brewery, Cornwall.
Rich,Coffee,Chocolate Malt, lots of Caramel Toffee, yummmmmy !!
Bought,drank and approved by Rowanwitch, seconded by myself .... :-)
Available from 'The Wellington', Brum on Friday last week but the Barrel was soon drunk by the regulars.

Raging Bitch (Bottled)@ 8.3% from Flying Dog Brewery, USA
A Belgian style IPA....Hugely Hoppy,powerful,touch of Elderflower in background with a long bitter finish.
It's a hard life, all this Beer tasting ! :-))

Very rare to see a 9% ale on draught! Sounds lovely. Theres so many decent dark ales around right now.

The IPA sounds nice. I like our American cousins approach to IPA. They tend to use homegrown 'citrussy' hops - The 'C' hops they call them, Cascade, Centennial and another one that begins with C that I cant remember!

They also had a 10.5% Cask Ale at the same Pub over the weekend but it had all gone by yesterday afternoon ! Not sure what it was called as did not get back from London in time to try it

Nice smooth Stout type Beer ( Very Dark)
Doom Bar is the best draught ale ive had for a long time, brewed in Cornwall.
