Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Hello all, hija has been and gone :-( we all had brekkie then she and I went round the shops and had a coffee, she bought lots of small bottles of hierba to take back to Dubai, I had to buy yards of bubblewrap and wrap them all! Mr N thought she seemed disappointed that he wasn't taking her to airport so gave up gold and took us which was really nice. Her case was overweight but she was let off! she is now in Barcelona, meeting a crowd of friends for dinner and disco, she is off to Dubai on Monday lunchtime!

I rushed around her room washing, cleaning and changing the bed, so I think Mr N is looking forward to sneaking in there later!! I'll be lumbered with the damn cat on my bed again!!

Have a nice trip Jude, hope we can meet up in June!

Mr N has fitted a reverse osmosis onto the cold tap so we can have unlimited drinking water, save us buying it!

dear me, there was a time I could have five glasses of wine at a party and not come home and fall asleep. But those days are obviously gone. Maybe if I tried drinking it before bedtime?

bread, cheese, sort of tabbouleh thing, stollen, cakes with little rice-paper flowers on top... the instructions were to bring things that were green or yellow, and many cooked their own (the lime jelly with apple slices was good), though we just took some yellow wine and tongue-in-cheek Ferrero Rochers. It was just buffet and stand around and chat rather than sitting down to a formal meal.

What's gone ping? I get it in neck and shoulders, which at least are easy for osteos to get at if they don't fix themselves. Anything further down is awkward.

Mid back, just above the waist. It has a mind of its own, never murmurs when i garden or go up in the loft, pings when I turn awkwardly or think the wrong thought. It sounds like a great party.

Morning all...I've gone from not sleeping to sleeping too much, I've got a head full of kapok. Maybe I'll be able to potter outside later and clear it a bit...not that I'll be doing anything dynamic, my back hasn't pinged, it's more seized up.

Five glasses of wine with brunch, is that bringe drinking? There's probably something green in the drawer of my fridge you could have taken.

Happy Easter all, lovely day here. Mr N took himself to golf just to have a putter about. I cleaned our bedroom, bathroom, remains of hija's washing (she used 3 big bath sheets in one day - I mean ??) hoover through, didnpt stop for brekkie until 11.15. Had a bath and then Mr N and I went down the vilalge where they are all celebrating Easter, we had a couple of beers then lunch, but really strange food Taco of zucchini, 4 slices of cumcumber with cumin, breaded lamb chops and 4 big chips. The lamb was OK but it was all covered bones and all so had to be careful not to bite into it, it was very dry. Back home in bed now, eating my big choccy egg, feel a bit sick now.

Well the sun's finally appeared a bit late in the day. I tried to do a bit in the garden but soon had to stop, I just ache too much.

I'll download Vera tomorrow, it's on for 2 hours, and I do find her voice very hard to understand, it's more a series of squeaks.

Just seen those amazing Chinese Ballet dancers, the ones who do Swan Lake on the man's head! incredible.

Took the 10 tog duvet off and put on the 4tog but am feeling chilly!!

I enjoyed Vera, everyone a suspect, haha, and the newbie passed the test, very handsome. :) Haven't you got subtitles neti? I don't have a problem with accents as long as they speak clearly with their accent, it's the mumblers who are annoying...as is variation in volume from scene to scene which seems to happen a lot these days.

Hi all, been so busy, no idea doing what, oh yes, clearing my huge wardrobe and putting lots of pairs of unused boots away and a few heavy sweaters, also did the same to hija's wardrobe.

she took off to Istanbul at 14hrs from Barca, and is now winging her way across Turkey, Syria, Iraq and heavens knows where else!

am sick of chocolate, house is full of it.
