Brewed by Green Jack Brewery, Lowestoft, Suffolk.
It is a whopping 10.5% and needs to be treated with respect !!
Extra Strong Export Stout. Smooth, rich and fruity with roasted coffee & vanilla flavours. If you havn’t tried it yet, you need to.
Have not seen it on draught in any Pub,or in Bottles in any Supermarket, as I don't think it's widely available outside of Suffolk.
My OH kindly bought it for me On-line and it's superb.
If we manage to get to Peterborough Beer Festival this Year, must try it on draught or Gravity feed

Thanks for the 'sticky' Ed !
If you or anyone else likes Stout, it's well worth a try
I've already enquired with a friend nearby to see if he can source it!

Here is the Green Jack Brewery link.
You could buy direct from them if you wish

You dont often see beers of that strength on tap!

They had a Strong Ale Festival @ 'The Fat Cat', West End Street, Norwich a few weeks ago, and it was available on draught there.
It was sold in 1/2 Pint Glasses on gravity feed.
Wish we could have gone.

I was allowed a share and it was very good...but I kept thinking I must get some next year to put in the Christmas cake because that's what it tasted like a boozy fruit cake in a glass
Coo - that sounds nice :)

It went quite well with hot cross buns though as that was all we had in the cakey line
A stout at 10.5% - must be wandering into the 'Russian Imperial Stout' terrirtory as a beer style.
not as smoky or treacly but with as much punch nearest I've had was the kernow imperial stout at 9.2
Thanks for the heads-up on the monthly beer, redman, I'll give it a bash on Saturday... Still going with the Dryathlon until then..... January issssss a vvvvvvery lloooooooooooonnnnnggg month when you're dry :((
Just wanted to add I have had excellent service ordering direct from the Green Jack shop. They do some remarkably good brews :)

Have not tried this one, but I might well order a few bottles now..
just don't try analysing it Lazygun enjoyyyyyyy!!!
redders - are you a member of Ratebeer? I'm on there as Booldawg. TBH I'm no expert with the tasting notes I only really use it to keep track of what beers I've tried.
That sounds like it's well worth a try, redman.
