If you forgot to add the raspberry juice, tabasco, and black pepper, substituting instead the same measures of bourbon, it might be quite nice, especially Jim Beam Black.

whiffey (slap)!!
it thought the raspberry and black pepper sounded good actaully. probably thinking more like a coulis though, watered (?) down with bourbon and ice - probably better with white rum tho.
im gonna try it with white rum, and name it a whiffey - in honour.
drinks aside, im rather partial to orange marmalade and marmite on the same slice of toast, which might explain why i took your suggestion seriously.

With a rather red face I have just tried bourbon with raspberry juice. I chickened out of mixing them in the glass, but I have an individual glass of each in front of me. It is truly revolting, except for the bourbon.
Has anyone come across a spiced-up tomato juice (Sainsbury's) called Big Tom ? Claiming to be the perfect base for a Bloody Mary it really is very very good.

hmm, i saw this on tv a couple of days ago... i think they were trying to advertise againt it though!!!
get a pint pot, put a smirnoff ice in it, get three other alcopops and open them, very very quickly put them upside down in the glass with the necks in the glass, they should balance and not overflow the glass... add a couple of straws, and each tim you drink, the glas gets filled up again by the non empty bottles,
it sounds like fun, as depending on which straw you drink from, depends on which bottle empties in to the glass, and changes the flavor!!
