Hi there: Is there anyone in Belfast can tell me where I can find Kir? It's used to put in Champagne to make Kir Royale

To make Kir you use Creme de Cassis ( a black current liquore, not to sure of the spelling) and white wine. To make Kir royal you subsitute champange for the wine.
Quite a few supermarkets usually carry it or the off licence?

Thanks Bookermel. I tried Sainsburys and Asda today, I'll look for Creme de Cassis now instead of Kir. They did'nt know what it was
Nerd corner: Kir is actually the name of a former mayor of Dijon in France who added Cassis to his wine.

yes sainsburys sell it but last time i looked it was expensive
something like �10 for 50cl,
