Anyone know of any good UK online websites where I can purchase "REBEL YELL" Bourbon. The site I got it from last time no longer seems to stock it. I have whiskeyuk and whiskey exchange in 'my favourites' but they're no use

"Rebel Yell, Louisville, Kentucky, Alc 40%, 14.99
Most drinkers would be hard pressed to tell this bland spirit was bourbon. Leave it on the shelf, and buy the Jim Beam. Its 48p more, but well worth it. 3/10 Safeway"
Still, each to his own, I guess! :-)

Not sure if son's tried it, I have and found it quite nice. I was amazed after looking at various sites, just how many diferent selections there are.
Still nothing compares with JD.
I did know about JD Heathefield. I think they're made the same way,but as you say,has to be from Kentucky for the name Bourbon

Bourbon whiskey doesn't have to be produced in Kentucky. It is considered a national drink of America and can be legally produced anywhere in the States.
There are, however, many strict rules about bourbon production. I believe the reason Jack can't be classed is that it goes through the Lincoln County Process - filtration through sugar maple charcoal.

Keeprockin - let me re-phrase that - one of Billy Idol's greatest hits:)
I am an old lady myself so I understand.
Now why did you think it was country - not all of us Southern old ladies listen to country - some of us still "rock on"!!! :) Although I will admit to occasionally listening to Willie & Waylon and the boys (like Toby Keith) :)

lol Keeprockin - now you have this Tennessee country old lady mixed up with the Louisiana old ladies:) I do have a cousin who moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana many years ago, so I have been there several times over the years - and I do like some of the Zedeco music!!! Here in Chattanooga, Tennessee - about 1-1/2 hours from Nashville, Tennessee there are a lot of country music fans - but a lot of other kinds too:)
Keeprockin - don't worry about what anyone says - we aren't doing anything to hurt anyone. When you were in Nashville, you were close to:

Try Wild Turkey, smoother than JD or JB, bit more expensive, but worth it
