Dooleys?

Question Author
Hi ojread2,
Thanks for your reply, i'd never heard of it, so googled, and the only Dooleys drink I could find, was a Toffee Liquour, which is alcoholic.

Reason i'm asking, is because my daughter has a fanatical liking for the drinks mentioned, she's Autistic, and while we don't want to take her treat away, we want to get her off the alcoholic side, btw, we only let her have a tot after her evening meal.
Hiya
I'm so sorry, i completely missed the non alcoholic bit in your post!
How about coffee, ice cream with a dash of vanilla essence? Whisk it all up in a blender, add ice and voila!

Thanks ojread2, thats a good idea, without the ice though, i've told my wife, and she'll give it a try tomorrow. thinl I might try it also.
The secret ingredients in pretend Baileys are a very small quantity of creamed coconut (1/2 teaspoon) and a tablespoon of chocolate syrup (Cake making kind)

Here's the alcoholic version:

Ingredients:
1 x 300ml Can sweetened condensed milk
250 to 375ml Whiskey (1/2 bottle of Paddy will do nicely!)
1 x 250ml (5oz) carton single cream
3 size 3 eggs
15ml (1 tablespoon) chocolate syrup (cake making kind)
2ml (1/2 teaspoon) coconut extract (a good scrape of Sharwood's block creamed coconut as used in oriental cookery works fine)
Directions:
Place all the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor or goblet of a powerful blender and mix until smooth.

Pour into a bottle and refrigerate. Shake well before pouring and drink within four days.

Serves one if i'm pouring!
