Calsberg draught master
1 Answers
Does any body own one of these?
I was going to buy one as a gift but would like to know a bit more first.
I know you have to pre chill a new keg for 24 hrs before you use it, but then how does it work? Will the draught master keep it cool, or does it eventually reach room tempreture, and finally how long does a keg last after opening, before it goes flat / off. (unless everyone drinks it of course)
Cheers.

I got one of these for xmas.
Really easy to use.
Chill the keg first.(stick it in the freezer for a couple of hours rather than in the fridge.)
At the same time as putting it in the cooler turn the draughtmaster on , and it sarts cooling the storage compartment.
When the keg is chilled , insert it into the draughtmaster.
The compresser will start running for a couple of minutes to build up some preassure(made me jump the first time i used it.)
Now your keg is chilled and pressuerised its time to pour beer.
Its best to run your glass under a cold tap or stick in the freezer for a couple of minutes (a warm glass may make it a bit frothy).
Take your glass hold at 45 degrees and pour.
Tastes better than out of a can.
With a keg installed and the draughtmaster turned on a keg will keep fresh for about 21 days.
Good points , nice gadget , great beer .
Bad points , the price of a keg , it is quite noisy when preassurising , which it does periodicaly , the kegs dont last long enough.
