One of the HAS to be Domaine de la Romanee Conti.
That was not a bad guess by joggerjayne, but I don't think it is the correct answer. joggerjayne presumably knew something of M Jayer's connection with Burgundy. That would make romanee conti a logical choice.
M Jayer owned vineyard land from parantoux and noiret-camuzet. He also made wine with grapes from several other vineyards.
I don't know the answer to this, but I am interested. It was a sad day when M Jayer died a few years ago. Did he leave the land back to parantoux and noiret-camuzet? I don't think it would have been romanee conti.
