Do you like Babycham? It has some nice memories for me! The other day a neighbour brought me some over, she knows I like them, having one now! ( No cherry! ) ;0) Anyway, I was opening the cardboard packaging & I noticed 'Free Limited Edition 2010 glasses' Remember the distinctive glass? I've just been on their website & entered to win a couple of glasses! There's some interesting history too about their product!
Anyway, thought I'd share their competition with you! http://www.babycham.com/flash/welcome.html

OMG you've reminded me! When I was very young (hem, a couple of years ago); my mate and I used to have barley wine and babysham, yes mixed together in the same glass! It was lethal stuff.
not sure if drank it or not think have done so if it is orange and fizzy wine, its not very strong and tasted like lemonade doubt will be enetering a competition for it!
my god maggot I'm surprised you're still alive...........barley wine is lethal on it's own.

Let me tell you my memories of Babycham! The first nice man I went out with bought me Babycham in the 70s!

Robinia! I'm jealous! That glass would bring so many memories back!
I have got a Babycham clock which has a mirrored face. I saw one go on ebay recently for £50, but I wont sell it as I like it a lot - and have had it for over 20 years.
When I was 17 my mum (bless her) decided she'd sneak me into the local for an underage drink. We got in and she's saying ...Now would you like a sherry or maybe a Babycham.......Charlie behind the bar said.....Evening 'craft' pint of guinness is it?....mum was mortified.
Question Author
grasscarp,

Question Author
lol craft!
Certainly does Sachs, it was sneaked in to the hospital & given to me with a bottle of Babycham after the birth of my first baby. He'd been very ill after being born & that was the closest I got to champagne when he recovered :o)
I think I've got a Babycham beer mat somewhere too.
Hiya Sachs - hows you today ?

Back in the 70's when I was 17 - I liked Babycham, I think mainly because it tasted sweet and I always had 3 cherries. It is also very potent and gets you tiddly fairly quick - or is that just me (:0 D

Robina - I think Brandy & Babycham was the 'in' drink back in the 70's.
