Netherlands vodka

Hi All

I have been given a bottle of vodka. It is called Ketel One Citroen, distilled by Nolet in Schiedam. Does anyone know if this is best on its own or with a mixer.

Google for 'citron vodka mixers' and get loads of recipe links, mostly cocktails, but many using soft drinks.

Just tried a sample, on its own to begin with. It was OK but it is better with soda water, will try other mixers eventually.

I generally don't like vodka, except mixed with tomato juice as a pre-dinner drink. (I find it gives me an appetite). You've given me the idea that I might miss out the slice of lemon, and try it with citron vodka instead. Worth a try.

tried that citron gin (No 10) and it was shyte.

Loads of ice in it may help.....just think of Dutch water in it though, its really 20 times recycled Swiss and German pee - and the Dutch live on 10000 years worth of German and Swiss shyte as well...
