If you have the willpower to leave it for a full day and night in the fridge, then it should be fine. I'd do the brulee topping just before serving though.... it doesn't take long with a blowtorch or under a grill.
I didn't actually lick the lids in the advert !!! I only chose the name for Answer Bank as I didn't know what other name to choose. But, I do lick the lids in the privacy of my own home !!
