Scones with sweetener

Has anyone made scones using a sweetener such as Splenda instead of sugar. Any recipe would be appreciated.

You can make scones with no sugar at all. I would start fro this point and add a half tablespoonful (splenda is twice as strong I think) and try the result. Make sure that you add baking powder to the flour as well as using SR flour. And don't roll them too thin. I usually do mine about 2cm.. good luck.

3cups of selfraising flour 1 cup of thick cream 1 cup diet lemonade mix well and bake in an hot oven, no suger scones
