Mediterranean starter

I'm cooking a Mediterranean dish tomorrow for friends. The meal will be chicken-based and I need ideas for a starter. Something simple if possible and maybe even cold. Thank-you.

a selection of olives, bread for dipping in olive oil and a glass of dry sherry.

Hot ciabatta covered in grilled feta and topped with roasted cherry tomatoes + thyme.

would do some fried large prawns - Langoustines or somethime similar and do a retro prawn salad

Aioli with a Mediterranean bread (most supermarkets stock some kind). Just put a jar of olives out with it and it makes a lovely starter.

Maybe too late for you buy in stuff in but -
I would do Anti - pasti.
Olives, salami, chiabata bread etc. Basicaly anything served cold from Italy.
