As long as the freezer has been keeping properly low temperatures there shouldn't be the slightest problem in cooking and eating them. I'd not do the beef rare though.
Beef should be okay, gammon may have a funny taste. Anything with ham/bacon in has what I call a freezery taste if left too long
2 years ago!?? I wouldn't eat them.
For me it is one year too long.

Many thanks for you quick replies. Well cook them both. x
Cook them for the dog/cat - I wouldn't recomment eating them - 6 months freezer life max!!
A bit off the point but they just found bottles of wine at the bottom of the sea that were hundreds of years old and they tried and found them not just fit to drink but superb and one sold for 32,000 € also I worked for a Tesco subcontractor many years ago when there was a typhoid outbreak and they blamed the corned beef Tesco took it off the shelves and stored it and five years later sold it when the corned beef was found to be fine
They found a frozen mammoth in Russia some years ago, and said it tasted fine!
Cook 'em both, then cut a slice from both, test 'em on your husband watch his facial expressions, go from there.
