Price of cherries
19 Answers
My brother gave me about a kilo of delicious cherries from his tree: the branches were bending under the weight, and he's giving them away to the family. I was in Markies yesterday and saw that 250 grams (at half price) were £2.49. Even with my atrocious maths, I can see that that works out at 1p per cherry; full price 2p per cherry.
I am going to make cherry Clafoutis with almonds.

If I didn't laugh at it, I would have cried. Now when I see the price of cherries in the supermarket, there must have been ££££££££'s worth on my tree.AAAAARRRGGGGG...
