bought my husband one about 4 years ago, very rarely use it, found it took to long and was very messy. Like redhelen's was quite expensive. We are now looking to buy a electric milk frother to use with strong coffee made in cafetierre.
sallybb.....I must admit to having quite a few gadgets hidden away....such as coffee bean grinder, filter coffee machine, Kenwood Chef with lots of attachments, and I have a Pasta maker which( after some months) is still to be used.
It does seem to be, in my case, that the more expensive an item is, the more likely that it will end up hidden away. I haven't got a Cappuccino Maker which appear to very expensive.:-
Just looked at the link Ron. Ours must be outdated, cos its not there, it is a few years old. Now the 'press one button' looks good, but not at those prices. Think Yelenots is looking for a reasonably price one.
We had a property cappuccino maker and once the novelty wore off we just couldn't be bothered with the faff of using and cleaning it. Then we were given a Tassimo, which uses T-discs and has a cleaning cycle, and we use it all the time. Coffee is very tasty too.
