Salad...

It's a scorcher so was thinking of doing a salad. What's your favourite combination?

At a wedding on Saturday we had Parma ham, fennel, roasted peppers and a balsamic dressing. It was lush...

Mozzarella, avocado, spinach, pine nuts and balsamic dressing

lettuce cos is a fave at teh mo and little gems, toms, cucs, peppers, cheese, sweetcorn, olives, maybe a bit of pasta or pot salad, mixed beans,cold meats, bread, dippy things

hungry now and i've got beef sarnies :-(

and love fresh figs with moz wrapped in parma ham, that's lush

Last night we had, crispy chorizo with boiled new potatoes sauteed in the chorizo fat, mixed leaves, tomatoes, red pepper and nectarine with a simple vinaigrette dressing. Should have had avocado with it but they weren't ripe and I forgot the croutons.

Tomorrow I'm planning something with goats cheese, beetroot and pumpkin seeds.

Friday it's gonna be an asian chicken noodle salad.....assuming the weather holds!

I like hot things in Salads...and sweet things.

I love Rocket, sweet Romaine lettuce, Watercress and Baby Spinach....

....together with crunchy, peppery radishes, sliced red onions, halved baby plum tomatoes, grated carrot, grated mooli, and brightly coloured sweet peppers....finished with a balsamic dressing.

And I'll eat it with anything........:o)

i found MOO blue pie in sains this morning, if i cooked that and decorated it round the edge with green stuff, reckon i could pass it off as a salad?

Just back from holidays where you could have red cabbage and sprout salad - not recommending it though!
