Where in the uk can I find a cookery course for my son or 13 going on 14?

In the kitchen? Let him see you or your wife/husband enjoying cooking, and you let him help, or rather, let him do it, and you help him. That's going to be more educational than any course.

Unless, of course, he's a promising cook already, and you're looking to hone his culinery skills as they're outstripping yours..in which case, I can't help.

Personally I don't think a child of 13 needs to go for classes to learn to cook, but I've seen cookery books for children being advertised, like "Kids in the Kitchen" by Sara Lewis which your son can use.
