I'd like to try a slow cooker recipe for apricot chicken which needs tinned apricot nectar. I've never come across this before. Is it available in supermarkets? Thanks for any help.

I'd have thought it would be in the long life fruit juice area

Having said that I didn't spot any in my local (fairly large) Sainsburys today so maybe my info is out of date.

Does it have to be tinned?? It's readily available bottled.

I'm sure bottled would do just as well. Would it be with other fruit juices in the supermarket?

Are you using a Tajine - i"m pretty sure that in N.African dishes they
use dried Apricots
