They always taste better for some reason - more crispy I think.

I presume they mean crinkle cut chips available in the frozen food section of any supermarket.

They are like normal chips, but with a wavy (and therefore much bigger) surface.

This means they have considerably more oil and salt than straight chips (because of the bigger surface area) ...

... and so they are REALLY BAD for you.

They're brill for anything added or dipped like vinegar sauce or runny egg.

But the McCaine OvenChip crinkly chips only have 5% fat the same as the ordinary oven chips

(To be honest I prefer oven chips to home made ones)

Don't have chips very often though.

I cook oven chips in my fryer. They are lovely.

You get crinkle cut microchips as well.. not as good but okay for a quick fix :)

I avoid chips, in favour of a health conscious diet.

Okay, okay ... that's totally not true.

But I do have to walk past at least three fish and chip shops just to get my newspaper, so it's not really my fault.
