I have just sat down to a big mug of espresso (ok, we cheat, it is Nescafe instant Espresso) when at home.

No, I don't drink coffee, but when I do, it's black - espresso's too strong for me.

Yep - total coffee snob.
I make a double espresso every morning with my machine.
I recently removed the pressurising part from the portafilter so it produces a proper 'crema'. My preference is an 'Americano' with a large shot of hot milk.
Just fyi "Nescafe instant Espresso" isn't coffee ;-)

on the odd occasion but its quite strong, though not quite as strong perhaps as turkish coffee which i do like.

only when I need to stay awake........ make it at home at times tatty little kenwood machine but results are not bad...

Kitchenaid machine, Taylors Espresso, two times double shots to kick start the day, no milk or sugar.......nothing snobbish to me about coffee, its coffee.

The French have a real jolter with their Café Serré - effectively a double espress with half the water.......but not sweet like mouse's Turkish.

I have a very milky coffee in the morning using a Bialetti pot. I'm not really a coffee lover but if it's milky I can handle it lol

I agree with "Nescafe instant Espresso" isn't coffee" its ok but not as good as the real thing, not bad for instant.
