Just saw the other thread about slow cookers, I would like suggestions on the best one? I don't mind a big one so I can freeze some meals.

I am a singleton so I bought a little one - then found it's not big enough to do ham shanks, lamb shanks etc. Wouldn't go too big but think what you want to cook. I'm about to get another one - no harm in multiples!
Or whichs reviews are worth reading for most things...

(I have a cheap Tescos one and can't fault it)

(p.s. that's cheating Ed!)

Thanks AB and Vallaw. I'll give it some thought and check out that link. Cheers.
I'm on my third one .It's a Morphy Richards 6.5 Litre. The oval one which I find better for joints of meat .

Thanks everyone, I think I might go with the Morphy Richards. Oval is a good idea for joints, thanks.
My one`s Morphy Richards as well. The capacity isn`t the same as stated though. Mine says a 6.5 litre capacity is actually 4.5 litre working capacity and the 3.5 capacity is a 2.5 working capacity. Not quite sure what that`s all about really.
mines just a tesco one and its bloody brilliant
