Burger King or McDonalds

Which do you prefer and why (no answers from people who don't like either please !)

We have both a BK  and a McD's in Scarborough. I will only use McD's because in BK it's always filthy, the loo is disgusting and I'm sure I saw all the staff as extras in Night of the Living Dead.

Burger King, my 13 year old son won't eat in McDonalds and has refused to since he was about 5.

 Burger King as I don't like hamburgers and BK do lovely chicken wings - also their fries are tastier than McD's plastic ones

have to say i love mcdonalds for the big mac(its the orange sauce its amazing) but i have to say i think bk do better fries.

McDonalds I think, although Burger King do bigger burgers which are great like the whoppers! I prefer McD's fries as they are tastier, eventhough BK's are bigger...this is hard I can't decide!! I rarely go to a Burger King as the ones near me have closed down :o(

BK do a better vegi burger.  Less dry.  But McD's do have hash browns at breakfast time.  That said i rarely eat in either cos if I'm going to imbibe that many calories I'd rather be eating cakes!

Burger King burgers and McDonalds chips.  The only exception being the McDonalds chicken premiere burger

Just to annoy everyone further, if I don't eat either of the above for a couple of weeks and instead eat home cooked food, when I go back to the fast food all I can can taste is
"This is heavily processed"
instead of
"This is burger".
KFC is better than both of the above! ;-)

I don't eat either now and I'm by no means a food snob so I'm not lecturing anyone here. The same applies to fizzy drinks to a lesser extent.

Thanks to all the people who genuinely answered my question, and contempt to all the mealy-mouthed busy bodies that need not have answered. I think this site is a fantasic way to educate and be educated, but I find it is spoilt by all the preachy people that feel they have to disrespect genuine questions, at the end of the day I find it very discourteous and impolite. I'm sure I am not the only person to have experienced this.

Expressing a preference for neither McDonalds or Burger King is a valid reason for posting - for whatever reason. (You may actually prefer Star Burger; or may think that they are all junk-food-peddling murderers.)

The world is not divided into those who like McD's and those who like BK. If your question is to have any merit at all, you need to be aware of those within your population or sample (in this case AB'ers) who have a preference for neither.

Adding 'no answers from people who don't like either' to your question is a bit like a red rag to a bull for some of us. Had you not put this, I would probably have ignored your question completely.

There are occasionally some pretty pointless and stupid questions asked here on AB, (I'm not referring to your question here, pjm), but they are usually answered genuinely and sincerely, as we understand that the person asking the question may be quite young, or really does not know the answer. On the few occasions that such a pointless question has 'only arnsa if U R gonna B serius' tagged on to the end, then, I am afraid, they are asking for it (and usually get it).
