I've never had one. I'm thinking of doing them tonight.

Are they nice? What would you serve with them to make it more of a meal?

They're lovely. My fave is chicken, bacon, cheese & salad with a dollop of mustard mixed with mayo. Serve them with a nice salad or potato wedges
Question Author
Yeah....cheese and mustard mayo sounds nice. Thanks Meg...

when does a sandwich make the transition between sandwich and club sandwich? Isnt it just thick crusty bread with more than one filling?
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

pastrami, emmental, salami, salad with fries (not chunky chips) and mustard mayo for def
bacon, chicken, mayonnaise, tomato,
i had one once in a diner in New York, and though delicious, took me an hour to eat.
if you like cheese this is nice,
Melted Brie and roast sliced chicken in a panini, scrummy
Club sandwich has three layers, booldawg, usually lightly toasted - outside toast + filling + toast + filling + outside toast, usually stabbed together with a skewer..
U**** - crispy potato wedges usually go down well with them!
Question Author
Boold...it's 3 slices of toasted bread.

Fluff....yours sounds awful. I don't eat pastrami or salami.
all the more for me

i like meat

had a steak and cheese one once, that was heaven
The more that falls out, the better - I love food that you can eat with your hands.

Do you buy your french fries frozen? Or do you make them?
Boxy, so do i, though came unstuck recently, when the chorizo wrap had coucous in it, and the damn stuff kept falling out, nice but messy.
make.. chips....? no.
sandwich steaks, chargrilled chicken, red onion, lettuce, mayo and a little horseradish... wedges and onion rings with some chilli dipping sauce
