The first thing I thought I'd try is a couple of lamb shanks, with rosie & garly & veg.
I know there are loads of recipes on internet, but does anyone have any tried & tested homemade ones?

Good for curries, if you're not averse to using pastes such as Patak's.
Lightly oil cooker, chop onion and chuck it in, mash a tin of tomatoes, strain (keeping the juice) and chuck them in, chuck paste in, brown diced meat, strain and chuck it in, add a little of the tomato juice...stir and switch on 'Low' for about three hours. Tasty!
