How to keep a packed lunch pastie warm?
14 Answers
Has anyone come across an insulated product that would keep a pasty/pie warmish in a packed lunch? Plenty of Thermos flask type devises available for liquids, but not much for smaller/flat items. Would rather have something which works than taking pot luck on Ebay! Thank you

have you seen these handwarmers -

One or 2 of them next to your pasty would warm it up in 10 mins?
you just bung them in boiling water to "recharge"

Trouble with keeping pasties/pies warm is the steam makes them go all soggy. If you will be in your car this is ideal:

If you're at a pc this might work

Here in the land that invented the pastie, we traditionally wrap them in oilskins,,.....any thermal bag (including those that keep things cool) works.....and if you think I am mad re what I have said, a thermal bag works to keep the heat from getting in, or conversely the cold. Coolboxes (decent ones) work the same way.
