I like Tesco stores, they have a wide range of products, prices are competitive, parking is convenient, staff are helpful and I do not mind that they are dominant in their industry, why would I criticize them for being successful?
I hear a lot of people complain about Tesco, but there are still queues at the che

Fun biased and personal review of our nearby stores. I too like Tesco but have lots more favourites:
Co-operat ive (big store). Best stock in the area and much smaller than the big boys. Best green veg. Best sausages range. Best salad. Pleasant staff. Quickest for a full shopping list. Close at 20: 00.
Co- operative (little store) (3 of). Good stock....

I've stopped using Tesco a few weeks ago after having been a customer for about 15 years.
They stopped stocking some of my favourite items in an effort to push their own brands, and their prices have increased over the past few months by about 7% on a weeks groceries.
I now use Waitrose whose own brands are much nicer than Tesco's, and although some products are slightly dearer this is offset by their delivery service being free.
Having said that I do still bank with Tesco as they offer a great deal on their savings accounts.

Here here Tony I get fed up with people having a go at Tesco; they are no worse than any other supermarket for the prices they charge anyway and since when are they not allowed to make a profit.
Sorry, I wish I could afford the prices some of the local shops charge but unfortunately Tesco always comes up better value. I love all the big supermarkets for choice, price and quality and always use them.
Oh dear, Daily Mail been having a pop at success again have they?

TW, our local express is staffed by people who don't know the meaning of the word customer, let alone service, many, sorry aware what this sounds like, can hardly be understood, and so i would only go in if desperate, or need a paper. I don't even shop locally any more, as all our nice shops have gone, replaced with corner stores, which have a huge mark up on goods. So when able, shuffle up to sainsburys, the choice is good, staff ok, and usually can get what's needed, plus the market is just nearby for fruit and veg. I don't like the fact that Tesco has such a hold on our shopping habits, it's not just food any more but everything else, often to the detriment of the smaller outlets.
