Pizza bases and eggs!

I make my own - either dough based or potato based. However, I would like to encourage the little man for whom I make these bases to eat eggs - anyone got any ideas how I could incorporate eggs into the base so that he doesn't know they are there?

The potato based recipe looks the most likely. I normally mash the spuds with butter and then stir in some SR flour. Instead of butter do you think an egg would work? Or do you think it might make it hard?

Any suggestions, please?

i like eggs on pizza, would he go for that?
Question Author
The second one looks like it might work McFluff, thanks.

No, he absolutely wouldn't go for eggs on the top. If it isn't tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE, he won't eat it. Amazing what you can hide in tomato sauce though..........
My son, who is now almost 29, has never eaten an egg in his life, except if they are incorporated into cakes.

I don't like eggs either - nasty things!!
Why would you want him to eat eggs?
you cant hide slugs in tom sauce tho
You can with a blender...
I have a recipe for a "rich yeast pizza dough" - 8 oz flour, salt, yeast, 5 Tbspns milk, 1 to 2 eggs and 2 oz butter or marg. Usual method.
No particular need for anyone to eat eggs if you like them great... if not why worry
nad you cant they don;t belend down enough and they leave nasty grey flecks, if your looking for it you can spot them

oh the vile taste is another giveaway

Correct Chuck! My blender is my friend.

Craft, probably because I've got about 90 of the wretched things. The girls haven't stopped laying yet! Seriously though, it is just a question of slowly expanding his diet to incorporate as many different things as I can.
What about homemade beef burgers (bind with egg)
would he eat eggy bread, ob without calling it that

Nice idea, alid. Apart from the fact that he wont eat beefburgers!!!!
lol I forgot about your chooks...........
To freeze whole eggs, break them into a bowl and beat a little to blend. Tip into a freezer bag or airtight plastic container and use within three months - freeze them in small batches, as these will be most useful, and be sure to label the number of eggs that go into each freezer bag. Whites and yolks can also be frozen separately. Egg whites just need tipping into freezer bags, whereas egg yolks need a pinch of salt or sugar beaten in (depending on whether they'll be used for sweet or savoury dishes later). This will stop them from thickening too much upon freezing. Defrost frozen eggs in the fridge overnight and use them straightaway.

I would love spanish omlettes without eggs :o(

Sinderella - that's a great recipe. Thank you.

No Boxy, he wouldn't eat an omelette (unfortunately). He will eat a limited range of foods because of his autism and learning difficulties (he will eat about 6 things) so getting vitamins and his five a day inside him is a bit of a challenge! I have to keep him out of the kitchen when I am being devious because if he knew what I was doing he wouldn't eat the food I cook.
