Thank you all, Benecol - that was the brand I was thinking of too, I am surprided they don't do a cooking oil.
Flora Pro Active is on the list too. More research needed I think, just found a 'do not use canola oil' report that seems s bit scary

what do you think?
As I said before 'Crisp & Dry' Rapeseed, I don't think any oil actually reduces cholesterol it just keeps it in check.
Reduce your butter, eggs, cheese intake. (any dairy products)
Probably Olive Oil is the best and of all the different types Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the best as it is more natural and not processed as much as the other olive oils although it is the dearest.
Nearly vegerable oil is better for you than animal based fats as they dont contain cholestral, But be very carful with Palm oil and produce that contain it, and do use it for frying as it change to quite a nasty little bugger at high temprature and will do you no good at all in the long run
What we need to find is something that will scrub off any existing deposits. (Without causing blockages elsewhere as stuff gets removed.) I don't suppose anything is that good ?
