I would cook at 180 as fan oven tends to get a little hotter
Granddad g says that he would never cook chops in an oven - he would always grill them - brush with honey keep turning - some slices apple just before they are ready - or nustard and stuffing mix for a crunch - flatten dip in eggwash and bread crumbs and fry.

If you must cook them in the oven use the eggwash & bread crumb method 20 - 25 mins 180 but it depends on the size of the chops

Hi both, tanks for your answers. I would normally grill them but the grill is kaput (and I am a bit frightened of the grill/microwave/convection oven thing.
We sometimes put them in foil with fermented soy sauce garlic, butter and mushrooms and give them about an hour at gas mark 5. No fan though.
I do ours both in the oven or the grill - covered in honey & mustard mmm. Though I do like Grannys idea for a mustard & stuffing crunch?

Quick update - I cooked them in the oven, bit of oil to stop them sticking. Had to pour a load of juice off about 15 minutes in to the cooking time. Turned the oven up 10 minutes before the end and they were lovely - nice and brown and not at all dry.
